Transfer of Donetskoblgaz shares to Naftogaz

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine transferred 49.9% of the shares of PJSC Donetskoblgaz to NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine. The relevant decision was made at a government meeting on September 15, 2021.

Earlier, the said shares were seized by the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv, according to SSU materials.

SSU continues documenting the illegal actions of officials of PJSC Donetskoblgaz, which led to the shutdown of 58 boilers of a regional utility company in the Joint Forces Operation area.

Meanwhile, the current decision of the Cabinet of Ministers intends to prevent a man-made disaster in the region. According to the government, there is a risk of emergency operation of gas distribution systems which are high-risk facilities.

To remind, PJSC Donetskoblgaz is a facility of critical economic and defense infrastructure. SBU investigators have established that PJSC Donetskoblgaz is owned by allegedly bogus foreign offshore companies, controlled by a citizen of Ukraine who is currently staying in Russia.
