Luhansk region: SBU uncovers new caches with weapons
The SBU found two caches arranged by militants in Luhansk region. Both were set up in the summer of 2014 during warfare against ATO forces. Law enforcement seized 18 artillery shells.
Moreover, in the cache arranged on the former militants’ positions in Popasnyanskyi district, SBU officers found:
- two high-explosive anti-tank shells;
- 30 grenade launcher rounds;
- three jet anti-tank grenades;
- over 2,000 rounds of machine guns.
In the second cache, set up in a dilapidated dugout in Shchastynskyi district, the SBU seized:
- 10 detonators;
- grenade launcher;
- grenade F-1;
- almost 800 rounds.
The operation was carried out jointly with the units of the State Emergency Service.
