The russian invader, who had been stationed in Chuguyiv district of Kharkiv region since March, tells how the counteroffensive of Ukrainian troops demoralized russia’s armed forces, making them completely lose faith in victory.

‘During the entire period of staying on Ukraine’s territory, I realized: russian army has lost faith in victory, and the command is trying to cowardly flee from the battlefield,’ says the 20-year-old grenade launcher operator.

Abandoned by their commanders, the invaders were essentially ‘burned’ by the heavy fire of Ukrainian defenders on the approach to Shevchenkovo.

The occupier admits that he was lucky to survive because he surrendered and recommends other russian military personnel to do the same.

He also appeals to parents of russian soldiers not to let their children go to war: ‘I advise all russian servicemen to surrender. Mothers and fathers of their children, don’t let them sign the contract so that they do not make sacrifices, it’s not worth it. This is not our war.’
