In city of Kharkiv, the SBU cyber specialists under supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office stopped activity of a powerful conversion center. The total turnover of the center was more than UAH 5 billion (USD 178 m.)

The SBU officers established that bogus firms were involved in the operation of the conversion center. The representatives of these firms entered false information into the Unified Register of tax invoices.  

During the searches of offices, offenders’ residences, cars and banking institutions, the law enforcement officers found unaccounted UAH 7 million (USD 250,000). Also, the officers seized more than 50 seals of bogus firms, their documents, financial and economic documents, electronic media and other evidence of illegal activity.

The investigation is ongoing.

We shall remind that in October 2020 in the city of Kyiv, the SBU blocked activity of a conversion center with the total turnover of UAH 15 billion (USD 533 m.).
