The SSU Head Vasyl Maliuk thanked the National Police personnel for their important contribution to the fight against the enemy and personally congratulated the agency on its professional day. The Head of Service also awarded officers of the National Police.

‘It is an honour for me to shake hands with each of you and thank you for your work. Because I know how difficult it is to ensure citizens’ safety today, in the times of war. For the SSU and the National Police, the war is not only on the frontline. We are fighting one more battle – against an internal enemy, which is trying to undermine our country from within. But we will not let this to happen! And we will live up to the high level of trust of the Ukrainian people,’ Vasyl Maliuk said.

He emphasized that the SSU and the National Police are working today for the main purpose – Ukraine’s Victory.

In turn, the head of the National Police Ivan Vyhivskyi emphasized the importance of effective cooperation between the two agencies.

‘We cooperate with the Security Service of Ukraine on a daily basis to achieve our aim of bringing every war criminal and collaborator to justice. I am sincerely grateful to the SSU Head Vasyl Maliuk for honouring our cooperation - we are together, we strengthen each other and help each other,’ Ivan Vyhivskyi remarked.
