SSU Head Vasyl Maliuk presents state awards to 35 officers for courage in combat

35 SSU officers, who have been involved in the defence of our country since the first days of the full-scale invasion, received state awards for courage and selflessness on the battlefield.

The well-deserved awards were presented to them by the SSU Head Vasyl Maliuk.

These defenders successfully carry out combat missions to annihilate the enemy at the frontline, expose and detain traitors and collaborators.

‘I know that each of these awards was earned with sweat and blood. Because there are no easy tasks in war, especially for a special service. They all require maximum concentration, courage and dedication. And it is important not only to destroy the enemy, but also to return unharmed from the battlefield. So that tomorrow we can do our job again with high quality and professionalism, defend Ukraine and bring the Victory closer!’ Vasyl Maliuk said.

Among the awarded officers are servicemen of various SSU units, including the Special Operations Centre ‘A’ and the Counterintelligence Department.

Vasyl Maliuk also presented a medal to a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who fights at the front line in one team with the SSU special purpose unit.

The SSU Head thanks his comrades-in-arms and hopes that each time they are deployed for a combat mission they all come back safely to base.
