SBU exposes Internet agitators on calls to change state border and seize power

The SBU cyber ​​specialists blocked activity of the interregional network of agitators. Via the Internet the offenders spread calls to violate the territorial integrity of Ukraine and seize state power.

To distribute their “publications”, the offenders created and used profiles in social networks.

During the searches of the agitators' residences, law enforcement officers found computer equipment with evidence of illegal activities, and firearm without proper permits.

Thus, in the JFO area, the SBU exposed a resident of Mariupol who was distributing separatist publications on the personal pages of banned social networks.

Via the Internet, the agitator called for the change of the state border. Also, the perpetrator popularized IAF.

Currently, the offender has been served a notice of suspicion of encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine.

The investigation is ongoing under supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor's Office.

In Zakarpattia region, the SBU cyber specialists exposed a resident of the village of Mizhhirya. The resident called for the seizure of state power and change of the state border with the creation of so-called armed law enforcement units.

The offender also distributed discriminatory materials via the Internet against various national minorities living in Ukraine.

The SBU investigators served the perpetrator a notice of suspicion of actions aimed at forcible change or overthrow of the constitutional order or the seizure of state power and violation of equality of citizens depending on their race, nationality, religious beliefs, disability and other grounds.

The investigation is ongoing under supervision of Zakarpattia Region Prosecutor's Office.

In Chernihiv region, the SBU completed a pre-trial investigation upon distributing war propaganda materials online by a citizen of a post-Soviet country. The offender tried to involve several residents of the region in illegal activities.

The SBU investigators served the offender a notice of suspicion of war propaganda and illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives.
