According to the SSU CI case files, the pre-trial investigation into treason of former official of the President’s Administration and the National Security and Defense Council has been completed.

It was established that he provided a foreign special service with classified information on higher authorities.

During a special operation, the SSU CI exposed and disrupted the criminal's illegal activities.

The investigation found that the official was recruited by a foreign intelligence service to the detriment of Ukraine's state security. His handlers were interested in state secrets, to which he had access.

The former official was served an indictment for treason. Case files were sent to court.

He faces up to 15 years in prison.

The operation was carried out by officers of the SSU Counterintelligence Department together with investigators of the SSU Main Office in Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast and under the supervision of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
