In Odesa region, SBU CI officers detained a commander of an LNR subversive group.

Allegedly, in 2014 a native of Luhansk region took part in seizure of the SBU Office in Luhansk region and its "protection". Later, he continued his terrorist activity and participated in hostilities against ATO / Joint Operation Forces as a commander of a subversive group of the so-called “3rd Stanychno-Luhansk Battalion of the Airborne Platoon of the Air Assault Brigade”.

The offender was detained after arriving in the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities to perform reconnaissance missions on military facilities.

The offender received a suspicion notice and is detained for participation in a terrorist organization.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office.
