SSU CI officers helped to convict the former official, who has the 2nd form access to state secrets in the Presidential Administration and the National Security and Defense Council, for high treason.

The operatives established that the official of category "B" gathered and forwarded data, including restricted information, to curators for a long time. The customers, in particular, were interested in information on official activities of Ukrainian authorities.

According to pre-trial investigation, SSU investigators found evidence confirming ex-official’s involvement in explosive and subversive activities against Ukraine.

On June 1, 2021, the Court chose a type of detention for the offender in the form of house arrest for 24 hours.

The Article provides for up to 15-year imprisonment. The indictments were sent to court.

The operation was carried out under the procedural supervision of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
