Dnipro city: SBU CI exposes illegal export of military goods to Russia

In the city of Dnipro, the SBU CI exposed the private companies illegally supplying military goods to Russia. Several affiliated enterprises participated and won tenders of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB. Violating Ukrainian legislation, they traded with the aggressor country.

Allegedly, these goods were used to complete Russian military and armored vehicles.

SBU officers found that the management of one of the companies organized illegal business. The offenders knew that certain types of goods due to technical characteristics are the military ones and subject to export control. However, they deliberately did not enter such information into the export documentation.

During the authorized searches, law enforcement seized:

  • 1,200 pieces of military goods;
  • export documentation;
  • equipment for manufacture;
  • computer equipment.

The seized goods were sent for examinations.

Investigation is ongoing to identify other people involved in illegal activities.

The operation was carried out by SBU CI officers and investigators of the SBU Office in Dnipro region under the supervision of the Dnipropetrovsk Region Prosecutor's Office.
