The SBU CI officers established and documented involvement of a head of the so-called "migration service of the DNR Ministry of Internal Affairs" in encroachments on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, terrorist activity and violations of international humanitarian law.

In addition to that, allegedly, the offender ensured forced issuance of "DNR passports" to residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk region, as well as illegal registration of Russian citizenship.

The SBU investigators served a suspicion notice in absentia for encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, creation of a terrorist organization and violation of the laws and customs of war.

The investigation is ongoing under the legal supervision of the Donetsk Region Prosecutor's Office.
