SBU CI officers exposed a member of the tank battalion of the “DNR” terrorist organization in the JFO area. He planned to secretly visit relatives in Ukraine-controlled territories.

Allegedly, a resident of Lyman, being a member of illegal armed group, worked in the service, which provided support to the tank battalion in the occupied village of Michurine, Donetsk region.

SBU officers identified the militant, trying to enter Ukraine from Russia. Currently, the IAF member is cooperating with the investigation. He provided hard evidence of the specific circumstances of Russia's armed aggression and Russia's military support of “DNR” militants.

The suspect informed the SBU that the Russian military career officers coordinated the actions of mercenaries, participated in supplies of tanks and other Russian military equipment. Moreover, the man gave his “DNR” and Russian passports to the law enforcement.

SBU investigators served the militant suspicion notice of creation a terrorist group. The case is being prepared for submission to the court.
