During a special operation in Odesa and Kharkiv regions, the SBU CI officers detained two former IAF members involved in attacks against ATO forces.

According to the investigation, during 2014-2016, the militants took an active part in hostilities against the Ukrainian military in the areas of Donetsk, Debaltseve, Shyrokyne and Dokuchaievsk.

The detainees received suspicion papers for participation in a terrorist organization.

Investigative actions are ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the suspects’ illegal activities and prosecute all individuals involved in crimes against the national security.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of the Odesa and Kharkiv regional prosecutor's offices.
