In the city of Kyiv, the SBU CI officers found and detained a citizen of the Republic of Moldova. The suspect illegally crossed the state border of Ukraine and was hiding from criminal prosecution by Moldovan law enforcement officers.

The foreigner, who was banned from entering Ukraine by the SBU, entered the Ukrainian territory circumventing border control checkpoints. The individual is wanted by Interpol for committing criminal offenses in the Republic of Moldova.

The foreigner was detained and served the suspicion notice of illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine. A type of detention is to be chosen.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of Khmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor's Office.
