SBU CI officers exposed and detained a member of “LNR” terrorist group, who was hiding in Dnipro city.

The operatives and investigators established that a resident of Luhansk city, a former paratrooper, had joined the pro-Russian militants and took part in hostilities as a member of a reconnaissance company. Later he headed a unit in the so-called 3rd Stanychno-Luhansk Battalion of the Air Assault Brigade.

Then he left the “service” and decided to go dark in Dnipro city, where he got a job.

Currently, the offender has been served a notice of suspicion of participation in armed formations created in contravention of Ukrainian laws. The type of detention is being chosen.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of Luhansk Region Prosecutor's Office.
