As a result of a successful special operation, the SBU CI detained a member of illegal armed groups who took part in hostilities against the ATO/JFO forces.

Investigators and operatives found that a resident of Luhansk region in 2014 joined “3^rd Stanychno-Luhansk Battalion of Assault Brigade”. He later continued his criminal activity as an intelligence officer in the so-called separate intelligence brigade of 4^th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 2nd Army Corps of LNR People's Militia.

CI officers established that the militant conducted reconnaissance in the area of ​​Stanytsia Luhanska, Chornukhyno and Debaltsevo.

Currently, the detainee received a suspicion notice of participation in the activities of armed groups not provided by law.

The issue of serving a suspicion notice of encroachment on the Ukrainian territorial integrity and inviolability is being resolved. Type of detention is being chosen.
