‘Soldiers’ mobilized in so-called L/DNR consider themselves ‘slaves’ of Russian occupiers and are happy to be in Ukrainian captivity (audio)

The new SSU footage shows the story of another prisoner from the so-called DNR.

‘We are like slaves for Russia. We dig trenches for them, we pick up crumbs after them…’ says the man.

He was forcibly mobilized and brought to the base of Russian troops near Sumy.

Russian officers made them dig trenches and ‘educated’ them according to ‘dedovshchina’ [abusive bullying of new conscripts] approach.

‘When we were in the forest, he [Russian commander] did not like that everyone went to have dinner. He pushed one guy and started shooting near his head. Then he found another guy… So, he ordered two other ‘soldiers’ to ‘bury’ him. He made him take off his clothes, buried up to his neck in the trench and began shooting near his head. It was clear that our lives are worth nothing to them,’ the prisoner says.

In captivity, the man saved his life and escaped persecution by ‘liberators’.

However, he still has to answer for his participation in this war.
