The SBU Main Department of Internal Security exposed two police officers selling drugs. Officers of the criminal police sector of the Pavlohrad District Police Department are suspected of selling psychotropic drugs to local residents.

The law enforcement established that the offenders sold amphetamine and blackmailed customers to initiate criminal proceedings. The perpetrators were detained while trying to sell a batch of drugs.

The pre-trial investigation into sale of drugs by an organized group is ongoing. The issue of bringing another police officer to justice is being resolved.

The operation was carried out jointly with the Territorial Department of the State Bureau of Investigations in Poltava region under the supervision of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
