The Security Service of Ukraine found a cache with military weapons in Donetsk region. The cache belonged to a sniper of IAF of the “DNR” terrorist organization.

The militant has been a member of the Vostok Battalion since 2015. He underwent special sabotage and reconnaissance training in Russia and took part in the armed hostilities against Ukrainian Army.

The SBU investigators searched the yard of a country estate in the Pokrovsky district, which the militant had previously visited. The law enforcement found the buried cache with military weapons and seized:

• one AKS-74 rifle with two magazines;
• one RPG-18 grenade launcher;
• one VOG-17 grenade launcher "Khattabka";
• two TNT blocks with a total weight of 600 g;
• five smoke grenades;
• two RGD-5 grenades with fuses;
• over 2,500 rounds of ammunition of various calibers;
• 23 50-mm gyro jet lighting rounds of remote action;
• three electric detonators.

The seized weapons and explosives were sent for examination.

The pre-trial investigation is being carried out under the supervision of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
