Farmers-collaborators in Kharkiv region gave 70% of harvested crops to enemy – SSU investigation (video)

In the de-occupied part of Kharkiv region, the SSU exposed a local member of the now banned political party Opposition Platform – For Life on cooperation with ruscists. The woman voluntarily handed agricultural products and fuel over to the invaders, as well as provided her own property to accommodate military units and equipment of the aggressor state.

The collaborator owns several farms in Shevchenkovo community. According to the investigation, the farmer agreed the conditions of her agricultural activities with the occupiers: she had to give 70% of the harvest to the occupation authorities.

In exchange for that, the occupiers allowed her to seize other farmers’ land and equipment of agricultural enterprises, whose owners did not cooperate with the enemy. To do this, russians appointed her to the position of the head of the so-called ‘union of agricultural producers’ and authorized the assets of other farms to be taken under her ‘external management’.

The SSU established that in August the farmer had handed over to the occupiers 250 tons of sunflower seeds from the last year’s harvest, which had been immediately transported to russia.

The SSU detained the enemy accomplice after de-occupation of Shevchenkovo community.

Criminal proceeding was initiated by the SSU under Article 111-2.1 (aiding the aggressor state). The person in question has been served a notice of suspicion. Court is to decide on custody as a measure of restraint.

The SSU Office in Kharkiv Region documented the crime under the procedural supervision of Kharkiv Region Prosecutor’s Office.
