In Kharkiv region, the SBU jointly with the Southern Railway regional branch of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia prevented state losses for almost UAH 2.6 million (USD 92,500).

The SBU officers established that in August 2020, the regional branch of the state enterprise started to prepare for open tenders of the portable technical lab. The total cost of the tender was UAH 2,580,000 (USD 91,800). During the documents check, the SBU officers found that both tenderers did not provide mandatory documents to prove the conformity of the ordered goods.

It could lead to the supply of low-quality goods and to the potential emergencies.

Due to the SBU immediate reaction, the Southern Railway regional branch decided to cancel the tender, which could harm the state interests.
