The Coordination Group of the SBU Anti-Terrorist Center carried out region interagency tactical and special anti-terrorist trainings in Kirovohrad city.

According to the scenario, several “sabotage” groups tried to undermine the social and political situation in the region. They had to commit a number of sabotage and terrorist attacks in Znamianka city, and get into the military unit.

Regional SBU units, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, the National Police, the State Emergency Service, and representatives of local authorities participated in the special operation to neutralize the “terrorists”.

Law enforcement officers responded in time, eliminated improvised explosive devices and prevented the infiltration into the military unit. As a result of coordinated actions, the offenders were detained. Consequences of their subversive activities were neutralized.

The leadership of the SBU Anti-Terrorist Center analyzed each stage of training and noted the appropriate level of readiness. They also provided recommendations to the law enforcement on enhancing the security level of regional strategic facilities and the efficiency of anti-sabotage operations.
