Lviv region: SBU conducts planned counter-sabotage drills at military facilities (video)
The Coordination Group of the SBU Anti-Terrorist Center in Lviv region conducted comprehensive special and tactical drills at the regional military facilities.
The purpose of the drills was to gain experience and practical skills, as well as to test the readiness of all counter-terrorism bodies to eliminate possible sabotage threats. It also aimed at increasing the inter-agency cooperation during a special operation.
Due to well-coordinated and effective actions, the participants of the drills successfully coped with the assigned tasks. In particular, a group of saboteurs was detained. According to the scenario of the drills, they had to explode several military critical infrastructure facilities.
In the drills participated the SBU units, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Police, the Patrol Police, the National Guard, the State Emergency Service, the State Border Guard Service, and representatives of the Lviv Regional State Administration, the Regional Prosecutor's Office, the Military Prosecutor's Office, the Administration of State Guard and the Administration of State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection. It was carried put in the conditions as real as possible.
The Coordination Group of the SBU Anti-Terrorist Center analyzed each stage of the drills and highly appreciated the level of protection of critical infrastructure facilities. In addition, participants were provided with instructions for the effective performance of the assigned tasks.
