The Security Service of Ukraine documented the illegal activities of the director of one of the municipal enterprises of the Pervomaisk City Council, suspected of receiving a bribe for the use of land.

Allegedly, the official demanded USD 20,000 from a local entrepreneur for concluding a contract for the long-term use of the land, which is on the balance of the municipal enterprise. On this land, a representative of a commercial structure planned to establish outlets in the city center.

SBU officers documented the defendant receiving the full amount of the illegal financial gain.

Within the framework of the criminal proceedings on receiving a bribe in especially great amount, the investigation for establishment of all circumstances of an offense is underway.

The operation was conducted under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor's Office of the Mykolaiv region.
