In Rivne region, the SBU exposed caches with a large number of weapons and explosives.

The SBU officers found military means of destruction in a cache disguised in a forest strip near the village of Stare Selo, Rokytne district.

The law enforcement seized four RPG-22 anti-tank grenades, two kilos of plastid, 0.5 kilo of TNT, an improvised explosive device, twelve F-1 grenades with incendiaries, as well as almost 1,000 rounds of ammunition of various calibers. 

Weapons, explosives and ammunition were sent for examination.

The investigation is ongoing within the criminal proceedings upon the fact of unlawful handling of weapons ammunition and explosives. Information on the illegal flow of seized weapons from the JFO area is being checked.

The operation was conducted jointly with Zhytomyr Border Guard Detachment of the State Border Guard Service and the National Police under the procedural supervision of Rivne Regional Prosecutor's Office.
