Conscripts of Russian army are not withstanding the psychological pressure. Some of them mutilate themselves to evade battle, others drink alcohol not to have the horrible memories and realize that this war will remain in their memory for a lifetime.

However, their relatives are not ready to realize the absurdity of the ‘special operation’, they are not happy that it’s failing and blame NATO for everything.

Another soldier, to his wife’s argument that her relative spent 2 years in Groznyi as a conscript, replies: ‘It was less [serious] in Groznyi. Over this time [in a month of war], it seems that 3 years passed. Believe me…. Because we didn't expect this…[resistance]’
