They are reflecting on mobilization in Russia, the absurdity of the Kremlin’s demands to give up Crimea and Donbas to Russia. The father says: ‘Same as in Afghanistan, in our time we were drawn into the war. We shouldn’t have got involved.’

Still, they are ‘infected’ by Russian propaganda and believe that the Russian invasion of Ukraine was organized by... Americans!
