Terrorist leader of DNR MDB detected by SBU received suspicion notice
SBU exposed a leader of the so-called DNR State Security Ministry (MDB) involved in harassment of Ukrainians in the temporarily uncontrolled areas of Donetsk region.
SBU regularly conducts investigative actions to collect data on crimes committed by members of terrorist groups for their further prosecution.
Allegedly, in 2014 a local resident had joined IAF.
Leaders of militants appointed him to the post of a deputy head of the DNR MDB Department.
While holding the position, the offender ordered to carry out illegal detentions and arrests of Ukrainian citizens. In addition to that, he participated in interrogations and tortures of prisoners.
At the moment, the perpetrator is hiding from justice in the temporarily uncontrolled areas of Donetsk region.
SBU investigators served a suspicion notice in absentia for participation in a terrorist group or terrorist organization.
The investigation is ongoing.
The operation was conducted by officers of the SBU Office in Odesa region jointly with investigators of the SBU Main Department in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under legal supervision of the Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
