Dear Ukrainians! Dear colleagues!

Today we are celebrating the 32^nd anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence. Today also marks one and a half years since we have been holding back this wave of russia’s invasion of our land.

During the full-scale war, our Independence acquired new meanings. It has become not only the embodiment of our right to life and freedom, but also a symbol of heroism and bravery.

Every Ukrainian understands that only Victory will preserve Independence. That is why our best sons and daughters are defending our age-old right to be free and unconquered.

Since the first days of full-scale aggression, the Security Service of Ukraine has been at the forefront of the fight against russian occupiers. Our Special Force destroys the enemy in the hottest spots of the war. Officers of the SSU neutralize traitors, spies and saboteurs. The SSU carries out unique special operations and brings closer the day when the words cherished by all Ukrainians will be heard: ‘The enemy is defeated, Ukraine has won’.

Let’s not forget that the price for this is the blood of the Heroes who gave their lives for Ukraine. They are our brothers-in-arms, whom we shall remember always. Their heroism inspires us to keep fighting and destroying the enemy.

We will survive because we are defending our Homeland. The whole civilized world understands this! We will drive out the darkness that came from the east, because we have a thousand-year history of our ancestors’ struggle, the glorious knights of the Cossack era. We will win, because the truth is on our side!

Our Independence has been and will be! Because it is a part of the genetic code that unites Ukrainians into an unbreakable nation.
