Dear Ukrainians! Dear colleagues!

30 years of Independence is not just an official holiday, it is a symbolic day, which gives clear understanding that Ukraine will live and evolve no matter what.

Ukraine’s strength is in its unity, and the greatest wealth is its people, regardless the residence, profession and age. All together we form the great state.

Day by day we change it for the better. And the Independence offered the challenge for the changes.  

However, 30 years ago we gained Independence peacefully, today we need to defend it with weapons in our hands. Our Heroes are falling in the fight for the right to independently determine the destiny of Ukraine.

This is a vast cost. It rests greater responsibility on us. We should not spare efforts while making the history of Ukraine, not just talk about ideas, but also turn them into reality.

We have to do our best to make the following years prosperous for Ukraine, so that global mapmakers will have no doubts, whose Crimea is, and there will be no contact lines and hot spots on the territory of our state.

Ukraine should be the state, which is an example for others: prosperous, blossoming, secure and protected. The SBU will put the most efforts in this respect.

I wish peace, welfare and mutual understanding to every Ukrainian family.
