SSU relentlessly detects and neutralizes sabotage groups and Russian agents in Ukraine

The enemy is trying to ‘reactivate’ former military servicemen on our territory and involve them in both open and underground war against Ukraine. But we are successfully countering this!

In Donetsk region:

The SSU detained the enemy’s sabotage and reconnaissance group. They arrived in Ukraine from the temporarily annexed Crimea the day before the full-scale invasion. They were to conduct reconnaissance of checkpoints and deployment of Ukrainian military, as well as to commit acts of sabotage and prepare a foothold for further advance of Russia’s main forces.

During detention, the agents put up armed resistance to the Armed Forces and the SSU. All members of the group were detained. The interrogation provided important evidence of the armed aggression against Ukraine.

In Kharkiv region:

The SSU captured an artillery observer who passed information to enemy on the location of military depots and critical infrastructure facilities.

The agent cynically directed Russian rocket artillery at the city’s residential areas. These strikes caused civilian casualties and destruction of infrastructure.

In Zakarpattia region:

The SSU exposed an FSB agent, who from the first day of the war collected data on the attitudes of locals in Western Ukraine, including toward Russia amidst the war.

The spy was detained in one of the towns of Zakarpattia.

In Dnipro:

The SSU detained two more Dnipro residents who supported Russkiy Mir.

According to the intelligence, one of them photographed military facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The plan of Operational Command East of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was found in his laptop.

The other individual was collecting data on the location of checkpoints in Dnipro. He passed intelligence to Russian supervisors through tags on Google maps indicating the location of checkpoints.

In Kyiv:

The SSU detained two brothers, propagandists with pro-Russian and pro-Belarusian views. The Service has evidence of their close cooperation with the intelligence services of Russia and Belarus.

The goal of the occupiers’ assistants was to destabilize the internal situation in the country and create the ‘required information picture’ for Russia and Belarus. Now, their picture is a view from behind bars of the pre-trial detention centre.

Ukrainians are a strong nation!

We will win! Glory to Ukraine!
