SBU blocks propagandist network from JFO area
In the area of the Joint Forces Operation, the SBU cyber specialists blocked the activities of a network of separatist Internet agitators coordinated by the so-called "Ministry of Information of DNR."
Allegedly, the group included 5 Mariupol residents. Under the direction of the curators, they systematically posted destructive materials on Russian social networks, as well as published calls for violations of territorial integrity and constitutional order in local groups with more than 150,000 users. The propagandists justified Russian aggression against Ukraine, popularized the terrorist organizations "L/DNR" and the secession of the south-eastern regions from Ukraine. In addition, the perpetrators called for riots and acts of disobedience.
The propagandist network is blocked. The law enforcement officers are carrying out measures to identify and to detain their accomplices.
To remind, such actions are qualified as crimes against the foundations of national security. The Ukrainian law provides for criminal liability for activities aimed at overthrowing the constitutional order or seizing of state power, as well as violation of the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine.
