SSU proves guilt of Tsaryov’s brother in terrorism, who now asks to be exchanged and sent to russia (video)
Following the SSU’s investigation, court has sentenced an enemy accomplice, who was preparing explosions in Dnipropetrovsk region, to a real term of imprisonment.
The offender is a brother of a traitor and a former MP, one of the organizers of the kremlin project Novorossia Oleh Tsaryov.
The SSU detained the suspect in May this year during a special operation in Dnipro.
In view of his cooperation with the investigation, court sentenced him to 5 years in prison.
Now, the convict is asking to be included in the list to be swapped for Ukrainians held captive by ruscists.
According to the investigation, the accused was carrying out assignments of russian special services to destabilize the socio-political situation in the region.
To do this, he was preparing a series of explosions at strategic transport and critical infrastructure facilities.
For this, invaders promised him the ‘chair’ of the head of Dnipropetrovsk region state administration if the oblast is captured.
However, the SSU uncovered the unlawful activity and established control over the suspect at the initial stages of his subversive efforts.
During the searches, the law enforcement found weapons, ammunition and TNT blocks for committing terrorist attacks, bank cards and russian passports in a specially equipped cache.
The court found the offender guilty under the Article 258 of the CCU (terrorist act).
The SSU Office in Dnipropetrovsk region carried out the pre-trial investigation under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
