Kherson oblast: SSU identifies 21 collaborators from occupation ‘russian ministry of interior’ who accompanied enemy military convoys

The SSU systemically exposes traitors and collaborators in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

As a result of multi-stage operational and investigative activities, another 21 collaborators have been identified and served suspicion notices.

After the start of the full-scale invasion, they voluntarily joined the ‘road safety inspection of the main directorate of the ministry of interior in Kherson region’ created by the aggressor.

While in their ‘positions’, the offenders regularly accompanied convoys of russian military equipment to ensure ‘unimpeded’ movement along the highways in the occupied territories.

The collaborators also guarded and ensured the transportation of fake ballots to ‘polling stations’ during the sham referendum.

In addition, with the ‘supervision’ of the FSB, they selected ‘candidates’ for the occupation authority.

For this purpose, they used personal connections, including among former law enforcement officers.

Based on the collected evidence, SSU investigators notified the offenders of suspicion of collaboration (Article 111-1.7 of the CCU).

Currently, the suspects are in the temporarily occupied part of southern Ukraine.

However, the SSU has established the addresses and routes of these collaborators and is acting to bring them to justice.

The operational and investigative activities were carried out jointly with the Internal Security Department of the National Police under the supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
