SSU identifies new collaborators who joined occupation ‘ministry of internal affairs of russia’ in Zaporizhzhia region and carry out mass repressions

The SSU continues to expose traitors and collaborators in the occupied areas in the south and east of Ukraine. The SSU has identified another four enemy accomplices who joined the ‘main directorate of the ministry of internal affairs in Zaporizhzhia region’ established by the occupiers.

Among them are three former officials who were dismissed from Ukrainian law enforcement agencies for ‘covering up’ drug groups and systematic bribery.

In the pseudo-directorate, these individuals carry out the aggressor’s punitive tasks to suppress resistance and intimidate residents of the temporarily occupied territory. To do this, they use mass repressions, persecution and illegal detention of citizens, including members of the resistance movement.

The occupiers’ ‘police’ resort to psychological pressure, violence, threats, abduction, torture and murders.

Under the guise of illegal searches, collaborators loot local homes, stealing money, household appliances and other personal belongings.

The traitors also participate in seizure of local businesses that refuse to cooperate with the occupation administration.

They impose ‘tributes’ on the owners of agricultural enterprises: in exchange for ‘bribes’, the criminals promise farmers not to interfere in their economic activities.

In case entrepreneurs disagree, the enemy accomplices threaten to use violence and destroy their property.

As a result of investigations, the SSU has gathered irrefutable evidence of the traitors’ unlawful actions, established their location and routes of movement.

SSU investigators notified all four offenders of suspicion under Article 111-1.7 of the CCU, including:

  • deputy chief of ‘Rozivka district department of internal affairs’;
  • chief of criminal investigation unit of ‘Kamianka-Dniprovska district police department’;
  • an operative of ‘Tokmak district police department’;
  • an employee of ‘Dniprorudne district police department’.

The SSU is acting to bring the suspects to justice for crimes against Ukraine.

The SSU is conducting the investigation under the procedural supervision of Zaporizhzhia Region Prosecutor’s Office.
