SSU identifies another ruscist commander who personally shot civilian in Bucha district

The SSU continues to expose war crimes of the aggressor state.

As a result of an investigation, the SSU established the identity of a russian invader, who committed a deliberate murder of a civilian during the temporary occupation of Kyiv region.

The war criminal is the acting chief of reconnaissance of the 64th separate motorized rifle brigade of the russian armed forces.

Serving in the aggressor’s ground units, he directly participated in capturing settlements in Bucha district.

The investigation established that during the occupation of Havronshchyna village, the russian captain had stopped an unarmed local resident in the middle of the street and hit him in the face with the butt of a rifle.

Then, the attacker fired at the victim’s torso.

According to the forensic medical examination, the man died from multiple gunshot wounds to the body and blood loss.

Based on the collected evidence, SSU investigators served the russian serviceman a notice of suspicion under Article 438.2 of the CCU (violation of laws and customs of war).

The investigation is ongoing to establish the suspect’s whereabouts and bring him to justice.

The SSU Office in Kyiv and Kyiv region is investigating the proceedings under the procedural supervision of Kyiv-Svyatoshynskyi District Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv region.
