SBU initiates over 22,000 criminal proceedings for crimes against Ukraine during annexation of Crimea and occupation of Donbas (video)

The SBU initiated more than 22,700 criminal proceedings for crimes against the national security and defense of Ukraine, encroachment on its territorial integrity and inviolability, as well as terrorist attacks during the annexation of Crimea and in the ATO and JFO areas.

The SBU officers have been documenting Russia's illegal activities for more than seven years. Moreover, law enforcement officers submitted the majority of the cases to international courts as evidence of Russian aggression. Almost 6,000 perpetrators received suspicion notices, among them 250 Russian citizens.

To remind, on March 1, 2014 the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia, at the initiative of the president of Russia Vladimir Putin, authorized the use of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine.
