SSU cracked down on the interregional drug cartel on manufacturing and distribution of psychotropic drugs. The perpetrators distributed a wholesale consignments of illicit drugs in Kyiv and Kyiv region.

During the searches, the SSU seized the ready-made products of almost UAH 1 m. (USD 37,822).

SSU established several residents of Poltava region to be involved into criminal activity. The perpetrators manufactured amphetamine, ecstasy and LSD for sale. The clandestine drug lab was settled in a private house in Poltava region.

The perpetrators distributed the illicit drugs on their own or through a network of drug dealers.

SSU detained the head of drug cartel and his two accomplices red handed while distributing another wholesale of illicit drugs.

During the searches, the SSU seized a wholesale of amphetamine, ecstasy, LSD and marijuana. Furthermore, the law enforcement detected equipment and chemical substances for manufacturing psychotropic drugs.

The issue of serving a notice of suspicion as well as a type of detention are being choosing.

The investigation is ongoing to prosecute those involved into illegal activity.

The operation was carried out by the SSU Main Directorate of Combating Corruption and Organized Crime jointly with the investigators of the National Police under the supervision of Kyiv City Prosecutor`s Office.
