In Dnipropetrovsk region, the SSU cracked down the organized drug gang on producing and selling methamphetamine.

Allegedly, the group consisted of 6 residents of Dnipro and Kamianske. The perpetrators produced designer drugs in a rented garage. All precursors were smuggled through the Middle East countries. In spring 2021, the SSU shut down one of their trafficking channels.

The perpetrators sold methamphetamine throughout the region.

Allegedly, during the existence of the illegal drug laboratory, the organizers sold designer drugs for several millions.

As a part of the criminal proceedings, 10 searches were conducted, psychotropic substances packaged and prepared for sale, equipment for their production and packaging, mobile phones with a customer base, and bank cards through which payments were made were seized.

Currently, the organizer of the scam has been detained, he and two of his accomplices are served the suspicion notice of illegal production, making, purchasing, storage, transportation, sending or sale of narcotics, psychotropic substances or their analogues.

The investigative actions are underway to establish all the circumstances and to bring to justice other persons involved in the scam.

The operation was carried out by officers of the SSU Office in Dnipropetrovsk region jointly with the Department for Combating Drug-Related Crimes and investigators of the National Police of the region under the sepervision of the Dnipropetrovsk region Prosecutor's office.
