The SSU has interrogated a major, deputy battalion commander, citizen of Ukraine.
He served in the Navy in the Crimea and in 2014, during the annexation, defected to the enemy.
The serviceman betrayed his oath and joined the Russian Armed Forces.
In March 2014, the man received Russian passport and in 2020 was awarded the title of a combat veteran.
The traitor was captured in Ukraine in Zhytomyr region.
Now, he will have to bear responsibility not only for the war, but also for betraying Ukraine in 2014.
