The SBU Cyber Security systematically exposes networks of internet agitators controlled by Russian special services. Coordinated by Russian curators, they instigated a war of aggression and called for change of Ukrainian state borders.

The online agitators used propaganda materials from Russian online media and websites of so-called L/DNR.

During the searches, the SBU officers seized computer equipment and means of communication with evidence of illegal activity.

Chernihiv region:

The court sentenced an agitator to 3 years in prison for trespassing against territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine. The offender created and administered specialized groups on social networks. The verdict came into force.

The city of Mariupol:

The SBU officers blocked the activity of three participants involved in promoting RLF militants and campaigning for a change of Ukrainian state borders. The offenders posted their publications on social networks banned in Ukraine.

The investigators served the offenders notices of suspicion of trespassing against territorial integrity and inviolability and propaganda of war.

Zaporizhzhya region:

The SBU officers exposed the illegal activity of Berdiansk resident who posted calls for the overthrow of the constitutional order on social networks.

The investigations are ongoing to bring to justice those involved in subversive activities against the state security of Ukraine.
