In Kharkiv region, the SBU exposed a criminal group systematically engaged in racketeering. They extorted money from local entrepreneurs, threatening with physical violence and damaging the personal property.

Allegedly, the group included law enforcement officers, local criminals, as well as men with combat experience.

Currently, the SBU served eight group members suspicion notices. The investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances and other persons involved in illegal activity.

The SBU has the audio and video recordings proving the perpetrators’ illegal activities.
