SSU notifies businessman from Melitopol of suspicion of building Dragon's teeth for occupiers on southern front

The SSU notified an owner of a construction holding company in the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia of suspicion of manufacturing fortifications and repairing roads for the aggressor.

After the start of the full-scale invasion, local businessman Ihor Skorobohatko supported the russian invaders and offered them his "assistance" in the war against Ukraine.

As a result, in October 2022, the offender received a large-scale "contract" from the occupiers for the manufacture of more than 1,000 anti-tank barriers, known as Dragon's teeth.

The invaders fortified their defense lines with pyramidal concrete obstacles to prevent the Ukrainian counteroffensive on the southern front.

According to the investigation, Skorobohatko is a close associate of gauleiter Balytskyi, who facilitated his appointment as a head of the seized Melitopol Asphalt Concrete Plant.

In the summer of 2022, the traitor began reconstructing the Melitopol-Berdiansk highway at the facilities of the plant. This road is used by the occupiers to deploy personnel and military equipment across the region, as well as to Crimea and back.

Based on the collected evidence, SSU investigators notified the offender of suspicion under Art. 111-2 of the CCU (aiding the aggressor state).

Currently, the suspect is hiding from justice in the temporarily occupied part of southern Ukraine. However, the SSU is aware of his whereabouts and is taking comprehensive measures to bring him to justice for crimes against Ukraine.

The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Zaporizhzhia region under the supervision of the Prosecutor General's Office.
