SSU declares blogger suspect for provoking clashes and religious hatred during mass rallies in Kyiv Pechersk Lavra
The SSU has collected evidence against another pro-kremlin propagandist who publicly denied russia’s armed aggression and provoked religious hatred.
The woman actively participated in provocations on the territory of Kyiv Pechersk Lavra in late March and early April 2023.
At that time, she spun her video streams on social media, in which she incited people to resist the legitimate actions of the law enforcement and insulted religious feelings of Ukrainians.
In addition, on her Facebook page, the blogger denied the facts of russia’s armed aggression and called the war in Ukraine an ‘internal civil conflict’.
The enemy supporter also posted her own pseudo-predictions about ‘inevitability’ of seizure of Ukraine’s entire territory and tried to discredit Ukrainian defenders.
The blogger’s destructive content was picked up by russian TV channels and online resources, which presented the distorted information as a position of ordinary Ukrainians.
The SSU-initiated linguistic examination confirmed the woman’s subversive activities against Ukraine.
During the search of the suspect’s home in Kyiv, the SSU found computer equipment used in the unlawful activity.
Based on the collected evidence, SSU notified the offender of suspicion under Article 436-2.2 of the CCU (production and dissemination of materials that deny russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine and present it as an internal civil conflict).
The investigators may additionally qualify the suspect’s actions in the nearest future. Court is to choose a measure of restraint.
The investigation is ongoing. The ‘activist’ is facing imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The SSU Office in Kyiv and Kyiv region carried out the operational and investigative activities under the procedural supervision of Kyiv Region Prosecutor’s Office.
