SSU notifies suspicion to russian militant-sadist who tortured civilians during Mykolaiv oblast’s occupation
The SSU has identified another russian invader who tortured civilians during the occupation of part of Mykolaiv region.
The perpetrator is Jabrail Nasirovich Yusupov, a russian sergeant from the 205th separate motorised rifle cossack brigade of the Southern military district of the russian army. After the full-scale invasion, he stormed settlements in Mykolaiv oblast and then carried out so-called ‘clearing operations’.
During these punitive raids, Yusupov, along with three russian soldiers with the call signs 'Almaz', 'Askhab' and 'Kakha', abducted civilians from their homes or just in the village streets.
The ruscists took the victims to a torture chamber set up on the territory of a local agricultural enterprise.
To force captives to cooperate with the occupiers, Yusupov and his accomplices subjected them to numerous forms of torture.
After the liberation of the area, the bodies of three local residents with numerous bone fractures and traces of gunshot wounds were found on the outskirts of the settlement.
Investigators established that the suspect had fled with his unit to the temporarily occupied territory in southern Ukraine.
The command of russian occupation groupings awarded the executioner with a marshal zhukov medal for military merit.
Based on the evidence collected, SSU investigators notified the enemy serviceman of suspicion under Articles 28.2, 438.1 of the CCU (violation of laws and customs of war, committed by a group of persons upon prior conspiracy).
Efforts are underway to establish the suspect’s location and bring him to justice for crimes against Ukraine.
The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Mykolaiv region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
