SSU serves suspicion notices to gauleiter Saldo’s two henchmen: one of them member of Opposition Platform – For Life party
The SSU has collected substantiated evidence against another two leaders of the occupation administration in the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region.
One of them is the former chairman of the board of a local textile plant, who supported russian troops when the invasion began.
After Kherson was captured, the businessman voluntarily joined the occupation administration.
There, under the personal patronage of gauleiter Volodymyr Saldo, he was appointed the so-called ‘first deputy mayor’ of Kherson.
To disguise his criminal activities, the offender invented a pseudonym, Semen Anatoliyovych Ushynskyi, under which he signed ‘administrative’ documents of the occupation authority.
These were documents on ‘transfer’ of most local enterprises, hospitals, banks and energy facilities to russia’s ownership.
During Kherson’s liberation, the collaborator fled with other ruscists’ accomplices to the Dnipro’s left bank.
During the searches of the suspect’s office and home, the SSU found documents with evidence of his collaboration with the enemy, as well as firearms and ammunition.
Another offender is a member of Henichesk City Council from the banned Opposition Platform – For Life party, who agreed to head the occupation administration after the seizure of the district.
In this ‘position’, he was directly involved in organizing a pseudo-referendum in southern Ukraine and assisted in the forced passportization of locals. The collaborator also collected information on members of the resistance movement and ‘reported’ it to russian punitive authorities.
Based on the evidence, both traitors have been notified of suspicion of collaboration (Article 111-1.5 of the CCU).
The suspects are currently in the temporarily occupied Henichesk.
However, the SSU has established their location and is acting to bring them to justice.
The SSU Office in Kherson region carried out the investigations under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
