SSU serves notice of suspicion to gauleiter Pasichnyk, who organized forced “mobilization” for war against Ukraine in Luhansk region
The SSU has documented new crimes of collaborator Leonid Pasichnyk, the head of the occupation administration of the “LNR” terrorist organization.
The offender organized the forced recruitment of residents of the temporarily occupied Luhansk region to the occupation groups of the Southern Military District of russia.
Since February 19, 2022, the gauleiter has signed several orders to “impose martial law” and “mobilize” the temporarily occupied part of the region.
As a result, the ruscists forcibly “conscripted” almost 80% of the employees of local enterprises to fight against Ukraine.
Mainly, these are men aged 18 and older, who, after a short training, are sent to “meat” assaults on the AFU positions on the Eastern front.
According to the investigation, more than 70% of the “mobilized” were killed on the front line in the first months of russia’s full-scale invasion.
Based on the evidence collected, SSU investigators have notified Pasichnyk of a new suspicion under Articles 28.2, 438.1 of the CCU (violation of the laws and customs of war committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy).
As reported before, in early July this year, following the SSU's investigation, the “LNR” leader was sentenced in absentia to 12 years in prison for collaboration and trespass against the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
The investigation is ongoing to bring Pasichnyk to justice on new charges of his criminal activity.
The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Luhansk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
