SSU investigates CEO of russian plant producing cruise missiles for strikes on Ukraine
The SSU has collected evidence against Sergey Bogatikov, the director general of the russian design bureau Raduga.
This company specializes in mass production of long-range missile weapons for the russian army.
These include cruise missiles of the Kh-101 type, used by the aggressor to launch air strikes on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure.
It was with this missile that russia hit an apartment building in Uman on 28 April 2023.
The attack killed 23 people, including 6 children. The strike completely destroyed a block of 27 flats.
The company headed by Bogatikov received the kremlin’s award – ‘gratitude from the russian president’ – for uninterrupted supply of missile weapons to the occupation troops.
Based on the evidence collected, the SSU has notified Sergey Bogatikov of suspicion under Articles of the CCU: 27.5, 28.2 and 437.2 (aiding the aggressive war, committed by a group, upon prior conspiracy).
Efforts are underway to bring the criminal to justice.
The investigation was carried out under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
