SSU serves notice of suspicion to chief ‘customs officer of DNR’, who ensures transfer of russian tanks to Ukraine

The SSU collected evidence against collaborator Volodymyr Boyenko, the head of the occupation ‘customs of the dnr’ in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region.

In this ‘position’ he ensures the transfer of military equipment, artillery and ammunition from russia to the eastern front of Ukraine.

For this purpose, Boyenko handed over the former warehouses and hangars of the Donetsk customs office with a total area of thousands of square meters to the command of the russian armed forces.

At present, the occupiers are using the seized facilities as transit logistics centers for the further transfer of weapons, including heavy armored vehicles, to the front line.

According to the investigation, prior to the temporary occupation of Donetsk, the suspect was the Deputy Head of the Eastern Regional Department of the State Customs Service of Ukraine.

However, in April 2014, the officer started cooperation with the russian-controlled terrorists of the dnr and later received an ‘appointment’ to the local occupation administration of the russian federation.

He was engaged in the export of agricultural, coal and metallurgical products from the temporarily occupied part of the region to the aggressor country for a long time.

Then, in November 2022, the collaborator became the head of the occupation ‘customs’ in Donetsk.

Based on the evidence collected, the SSU investigators served Boyenko a notice of suspicion in absentia under Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaboration).

Since the offender is in the temporarily occupied part of the territory in the east of Ukraine, comprehensive measures are being taken to bring him to justice for crimes against our state.

The investigation was conducted by the SSU officers in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
